While my folks are out of town, I took it upon myself to drag their kitchen table out into the family room in front of the new HD tv and make the ultimate crafting workspace. 80" of table space, Blu-Ray player, stack of Disney and Christmas music, WI-FI for the dvd player to stream Netflix, and a super comfy desk chair. So far I've managed to do 13 scrapbook layouts! And I've watch way too many movies!

With my dad's help I've been working on carving out space to setup some studio space in the basement. Still a long, LONG way to go, but it's finally started after months of attempts. Can you tell that I like blue and green a lot?

This week's workspace photo is of my new shelves that sit above my desk. My dad installed them last week and since then I've been busy filling them with lots of good stuff! Now I just need to clean off my desk and get back to work!

I finally got back to crafting! Today my workspace is full of paper medallions I worked on for a Scrapping the Magic post! There is also a stack of new 6x6 paper pads I split with my mom. Now I just have to find them a home. Check out the photo on Flickr to see all the notes on the items.

Someday I'll get back to crafting, but until my basement workspace is finished I'm doing a lot of organizing. Today I'm working on all my $1 stamps. I think I finally have a system I'm happy with. Lots of good stuff on my workspace this week: a layout in progress, a magazine to get ideas for Scrapping the Magic, my new favorite markers! Spent the last few days rearranging my room and creating a new workspace. Finished just in time for Workspace Wednesday! Most of the stuff on the table today is tools. My trimmers, jewelry making supplies, and my wall storage with my glue gun and other items. The other items are just some of the pieces of my All About Me Disney album, a basket of new items to be split with my mom, and my tin Pay it Forward gift from Beads for Busy Gals. More on that tomorrow!

Maybe now with my new space I'll be able to start posting completed projects, not just pictures of the supplies! =0)

This is how my workspace most of the time. I normally have to move items to be able to get any work done. Soon I should have this mess issue resolved when I make a new, larger workspace in the basement. There are a few items of note on the table... My new clay conditioner - an early birthday gift from my mom, 2 score boards waiting to have an article written about them, some green & blue fabric for a bracelet project, and my seed bead storage system. All crafty items waiting to be played with. If only craft time was as plentiful as chores.

My workspace on this snowy Wednesday. The album with a "me" on it is for the Disney All About Me Challenge series on Scrapping the Magic. The paper on the table is for my latest WDW Fan Zone project that will be published tomorrow. The little orange moose... that's Mini Magic. More on him later. =o)
